Decorlux Mirrors – Product Guarantee
The guarantee is offered only against faulty manufacturing or workmanship from the date of purchase. The guarantee does not cover general wear and tear or broken glass, or the replacement of halogen lamps, incandescent bulbs or fluorescent tubes.
The guarantee covers the supply only of replacement parts found to be faulty, limited to individual products and does not cover consequential loss or damage on installations, or extend to cover additional costs involved in re-installation of any replacement parts supplied.
Such replacement parts shall be guaranteed only to the extent of the period remaining on the original product guarantee.
The guarantee covers a maximum period of 5 years from date of purchase and will only apply upon the presentation of proof of purchase in the form of the original sales receipt/invoice (photocopies will not be accepted).
Conditions:
The guarantee is valid only when products are used in normal conditions, in the manner in which they were intended and manufactured. Products must be installed and maintained in line with installation instructions and in accordance with any national or local electrical byelaws prevailing at the time of purchase.
The guarantee does not cover defects due or caused by:
Damage as a result of careless handling or when used on a voltage supply other that that marked on products or within installation instructions.
Incorrect installation contravening installation instructions provided.
Electrical installation not carried out by a qualified electrical engineer.
Other products
Modification or repair of the product without the written consent of Decorlux.
Poor or inadequate bathroom/shower-room heating or ventilation.
Visible damage occasioned by accident or not.
Indelible stains, marks or blemishes due to accident or chemical substances not recommended by Decorlux.
Maintenance/care that does not comply with the recommendations of Decorlux.
When any defect could have reasonably been noticed prior to/during installation.
