Connection of the discharge pipework

Insert the elbow into the exit pipe from the unit, and turn it to the direction required. Fit the non- return valve to the other end.

WARNING: The non-return valve should be positioned so that the embossed arrow is on the top, and pointing in the direction of flow. Connect the discharge pipework directly onto the non-return valve in o22mm. Alternatively, cut back the end of the non-return valve and fit 32mm discharge pipework.

Secure both ends of the non-return valve with jubilee clips.

WARNING: All vertical lifts should rise as directly above the unit as possible. Only one vertical lift is permitted (within 30cm of the unit). From the high point a 1:200 fall should be installed. A second lift is not allowed.
WARNING: Bends should be smooth, and not 90o elbows. Either a copper pulled bend, or in plastic, 2 45o bends fitted together in series.
