For a W.C. and even a washbasin, for vertical discharge of waste, or long horizontal runs - ideal for basements. Up to 5 metres vertical or 100 metres horizontal.

To connect a washbasin, cut a hole in the unit's lid where the raised circle is clearly moulded, and connect a normal 32 mm or 40 mm waste using a tank connector (not supplied).

Sanitop will pump up to 5 metres directly vertically, or a maximum of 100 metres horizontally with a 1:200 gravity fall (minimum) constantly throughout the run to the point of discharge. Any vertical lifts should precede horizontal runs, and should be installed directly vertical from the unit.

If you wish to pump vertically and then horizontally, you may calculate that 1 metre lift is equivalent to 10 metres "horizontal".

Therefore you can pump 3 metres vertical followed by 10 metres "horizontal", or 2 metres vertical followed by 20 metres "horizontal" and so on.

Each bend can be considered to be equivalent to 1 metre of a "horizontal" run, so reduce maximum horizontal pumping distance by 1 metre of run for every bend.

Where a piperun is over 40 feet in length, we recommend the bore be increased to 32 mm (1 1/4") from that point onwards.
